Melissa Di Rito - Ayurvedic Practitioner, Yoga Instructor
Melissa is a graduate of The Ayurvedic Institute (www.ayurveda.com) in New Mexico where she studied with world-renowned teachers Dr. Vasant Lad and Dr. Claudia Welch. She is a member of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA) and Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher. Melissa conducts individual consultations and treatments according to individual and doshic constitution including diet and lifestyle management, herbal remedies, and yoga.

Melissa’s Fees:
Initial ayurvedic consultation:
- A 2-hour comprehensive exam including pulse and tongue diagnosis, as well as skin, hair and facial analysis
- Exploration of your main health concerns
- Identification of your natural balance (Prakruti) and any imbalances (Vikruti)
- Detailed diet and lifestyle recommendations to help restore and maintain balance
- Individual treatments and herbal remedies given as necessary
- Yoga, meditation and pranayama (breathing exercises) given according to individual needs
A 30-minute follow-up meeting is included to assess the process of implementing the recommendations. This meeting usually takes place after the first week of beginning the Ayurvedic recommendations.
2-hour initial consultation, plus 30-minute follow-up: $100
Additional Follow-Up Consultations
It is important to have support and remain focused during the phases of implementing the Ayurvedic recommendations. I am available to address any questions and offer support and information as you move toward your natural state of wellness. Two week, one month and two month follow-up consultations are generally suggested.
30 minute follow-up: $30
45 minute follow-up: $45
30 minute consultation & 30 minute treatment: $60
