Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a form of healing that was developed thousands of years ago; it is now recognized worldwide as a highly effective system of medicine. It activates the natural, self-healing abilities of the body and strengthen and supports the body to prevent future illness and disease. Acupuncture is safe, natural, drug-free and effective.
The ancient Chinese discovered that the body is connected by an intricate network of meridians. Qi (chi) is an energizing substance that flows through these meridians keeping all of the organs and structure of the body nourished and healthy.
The meridians in our bodies are like rivers. On land, wherever a river flows, it carries water that provides nourishment and sustenance for the life around it. Similarly, meridians are the rivers where qi flows inside of us. Meridians carry the qi that energize, nourish and support every cell, tissue, organ and gland.
Good health is a result of smooth flowing qi in the body. If qi is unable to flow to certain areas of the body or if it remains stagnant in a particular region of the body, symptoms will arise.
